The position of the Resident Manager (RM) is not filled in every company, but in most of the bigger hotel chains. A Resident Manager comes directly after the Regional Manager/General Manager and is authorized to instruct the staff and is responsible for all departments. Fields of activity are facilitating the efficient operation of the staff, communicating with the Housing Division to assure proper maintenance of the apartments and distributing information and correspondence to residents. Additionally it is the Resident Manager’s duty to plan business strategies, market portfolios, pricing and open up new markets.
The differences between a Resident Manager and an Executive Assistant Manager are difficult to describe. Therefore, both names can be used similarly.
