Personnel Officer

The position of an assistant is generally the entry level position. A Personnel Officer sometimes takes over the representation of the Personnel Manager.

He develops implements and advises on policies referring to the important use of personnel within an organization. The work of a Personnel Officer or an HR Officer comprises a number of different policies all that are required by institutions that employ people. The areas of responsibility might be working practices, recruitment, conditions of employment and pay. Additionally a Personnel Officer needs to ensure that the business provides employs the right balance of staff relating to skills and experience and that special development and training opportunities exists to enhance the team’s performance with the aim of reaching the institution’s objectives.

Therefore the HR Officer must have a clear understanding of the company’s purpose and be able to compose policies that retain the perfect staff.
