POSITIONS SUPERVISED:                        Nil

JOB SCOPE: Supports the Food and Beverage Service team by performing support duties including mise en place of food preparation, set up of functions, set up of food and beverage equipment and assisting with the preparation of service.  Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service.

Key Requirements

§  Mise en Place and Food Preparation

§  Assist with receiving and storage of goods

§  Clean and maintain equipment and premises

§  Maintain hygienic standards and procedures

§  Assist with the preparation of functions and service

§  Assist with cellar operations

§  Assist with the preparation of an outlet for service including:

o   Cleaning of equipment

o   Sorting of stores equipment

o   Cleaning and maintaining glassware for service

o   Cleaning and maintain flatware for service

o   Cleaning and maintain china for service

o   Preparing waiter stations

o   Preparing buffet service

o   Preparing service equipment and materials

o   Assisting with table preparation

§  Deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
