We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Attendant

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant is a professional that ensures a positive overall impression of the property as well as providing the necessary service of ensuring clean and comfortable rooms for our guests and ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience. Ensures that the DUKES Standards of Excellence in all areas adhered to and reporting to Housekeeping Supervisor.

  • Change bed linen and make beds
  • Replace used towels
  • Replenish guest supplies
  • Ensure guests requests are promptly and courteously met
  • Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas to Supervisor
  • Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repair
  • Maintain a section room report as well as a daily productivity report
  • Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
  • Attend daily briefings with supervisor and takes on daily assigned tasks
  • Reports lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediately
  • Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage 
Requirement:
  • Proven work experience as a Housekeeping Attendant
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
