We are currently looking for a General Manager - Catering Operations to the take overall day to day responsibility for the operational management of the catering services.

You’ll ensure that company continuously and effectively support the agreed specified service level agreement whilst participating in the development of strategy and the implementation of initiatives and goals and seeing them through to a successful conclusion.

As General Manager - Catering Operations you’ll be companies main representative and will manage the communication strategies between the business and stakeholders.

Role Responsibility

• Manage the day to day operations and ensure service delivery is of a high quality with an emphasis on standards and the clients experience
• Prepare and review the allocation of operational budgets to meet the requirements of the contract on both revenue and capital costs
• Ensure that all financial targets and KPI’s are achieved within a framework of absolute financial control with risks and opportunities actioned and reported on a monthly frequency
• Develop and manage a professional client retention and communication strategy, attending meetings with the Trust as required
• Business growth/retention and development
• People management, including development and close management of any Employee Relation issues
• Ensure efficient and economic use of labor without premium rate overtime or spikes in annual leave
• Managing debt within contractual requirements and ensuring labor management targets are met

• Proven experience of successfully managing client relationships and new business development
• Track record of leading, managing and developing a team
• Proven management experience in Catering Services in UAE region
• Experience of budget management, food delivery, hospital services
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be persuasive and decisive
• Literate in IT
• Commercial acumen and business sense
