Since many years YOURCAREERGROUP AG and Konen & Lorenzen Recruitment Consultants support fundraising campaigns and each year they gave a charitable donation to different associations. As both companies intend to accompany a longtime project they decided to support an individual project with "Kindernothilfe e.V." This project in India is set up for several years and offers  sustainable support and development.

Kindernothilfe is a charitable organisation which has been working to implement the rights of children for the last 40 years. The aim of Kindernothilfe's work is to achieve a world in which children and young people can live a life of human dignity, develop their talents and together with their family and community take their development into their own hands.

The target area of the Child Focussed Community Development Project in India consists of 20 villages in the Radhapuram block. This block is situated in Tirunelveli District in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. Radhapuram is one of the most backward blocks in Tirunelveli District.

The project goal is to bring sustainable improvement in quality of life and wellbeing to all 20 communities in the Radhapuram block. The prime focus of the project is to address the needs and priorities of children through a process of community empowerment. The families will be empowered to take care of their children by themselves.
