Our client is a well known 5* Dubai hotel, part of one of the region's largest and fastest growing hotel chains. The hotel operates approximately 300 rooms and close to 10 food and beverage outlets, among which are some of Dubai's busiest restaurants. The hotel is strategically located in the center of Dubai.
The Front Office Manager will oversee a team of approximately 50 staff in the departments Reception, Concierge, Bell desk, Valet, Guest Relations, Club Floor, Transportation and Telephone and will report to the Director of Rooms. The FOM is responsible for all guest service related matters and for maximizing hotel revenue while controlling the service quality.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years (international) experience as FOM in the 5* hotel industry and is European-trained. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required and knowledge of Opera is preferred. Excellent English language skills are a must.
