Bachelor of International Business in Hotel & Tourism Management

This programme has a strong professional focus for students looking to make their career in the international hospitality and tourism industry. The Bachelor of International Business gives graduates the potential to enter the industry in middle-management level, and teaches them the cognitive and analytical skills for management and leadership needed to progress to a wide variety of more senior positions. Students studying for a bachelor degree experience the life of two campuses, first at Institut Hôtelier “César Ritz” in Le Bouveret with an emphasis on practical skills and superior customer service, followed by University Centre “César Ritz” in Brig which focuses on the management aspects of the hotel and tourism industry.

Students completing the “César Ritz” Bachelor Degree may continue for an accelerated one-year MBA at Washington State University in the USA.

Programme Orientation:

During the first year at Institut Hôtelier “César Ritz” in Le Bouveret students will gain a sound knowledge of hotel operations with practical hands-on training (3 terms). Years two and three (5 terms in total) will be completed at University Centre “César Ritz” in Brig with a choice of electives from different trends in the hospitality and tourism industry and corporate-oriented business courses.
